I restored my Ipad 64gb 3g , i got stuck in recovery mode, i used redsn0w to reinstall the new firmware , then tethered restarted it. it worked fine for a while then its screen turned black. Before this i was looking at the sim card and it was in searching mode, cydia was there but the applications failed to install. itunes was detecting it and showing the application but the screen was black. I tried everything tinyumbrella rec1 redsnow greenpoison everything to restore it
but when ever i attach it with computer itunes says ipad in recovery mode.

i am stuck ......i dont know what wrong, battery was 76% at that time, now no apple logo no itunes usb mode image. nothin at all tried resetting it by holding power and home button etc....
either i am doing something wrong or something bad has happened. I am living in the country where there is no apple store and even cant send it to apple.....

if any one can tell me whats wrong?

graywolf you mean my ipad is safe? one problem i had and i am ready worried about is, soon after it turned black itunes recognized it .....and i could see application on itunes in my ipad and songs and videos but the screen was black

one more thing , everytime i tried to restore it thru itunes it gave me 3194 error even i tried to fix it it gave me 1015 or 16XX error i tried to fix it too but still same error i cant see anything on the screen so cant say anything about it , no progess bar no apple logo or anything just black screen no matter what ever i do

A couple of questions, if you don't mind:

What kind of iPad do you have - iPad1 or iPad2?

What version of firmware were you running before all this started?

What version of firmware were you trying to put on the iPad (as in, what firmware were you restoring to)?

Answers to the above may help us get to the beginning/bottom of your problem.

hi , i have ipad 1 64gb 3g, i had 4.2.1 jailbreak, i installed a theme for time on lock screen after uninstalling it , original time was displaced date some where else on the screen so i tried to restore it with redsn0w, after restoring it , cydia was there but network remained in the searching mode for 30mins i tried airplane mode several times, then i restored it again with 4.2.1using redsnow. but ended up in a black screen no apple logo no pineapple or harddisk logo for ram update, no usb mode, everytime i plug it is , itunes says ipad is detected in a recoery mode.

iTunes says it is in recovery mode. So hit restore.

i tried restoring even with 4.3.5 but screen wont show display no progress bar no apple logo ...............

and those freaking 3194 1015 16XX errors

So either your screen if fried, or you are missing something in the instructions. If you turn the lights out, you should see a faint glow on the screen while it is restoring. If not, then I don't know what's up.
