    Question About Stock Video App

    Does anyone know if it is possible to change the background for the stock videos app? Alot of covers are black at the edges and blend in, and I'd just like a little more contrast.

    No problem...I just wish a developer would make a video player that displays the cover art and tags like the stock app does.

    The only suggestion I have for you is to dig around in iFile (in the Video app) and look for that image file for the black wallpaper. Once you find it, then you can create a theme to change the background to a different color/shade.

    Maybe a Google search could start you off - as in, where to start looking for that file. All I can tell you is good luck. Cause it will be a project (that I can't guarantee will be successful! ).

    I found a file in /var/stash/applications/mobilemusicplayer.app named Default-VideoPlayer-Landscape~ipad.png there is also one for portrait, I switched them with my desired png file of the proper dimensions and resprung. When I open the video app my image comes up briefly but switches to the normal black before the cover art comes up.
