    hey guys, i got a quick question. I already updated my ipad 32gb wifi to 5.0.1 and i was gonna do the jailbreak but in the instructions it says to restore first to 5.0.1 and then plug it in and jailbreak. I know its probably a stupid question but i don't have to restore it if i already have 5.0.1 on it right? Any help would be great. Thanks guys

    No. As long as you are on 5.0.1 you are good to go.

    Yeah, all done, was pretty simple! I had to turn on vpn as there is a connection error on greenpoison, but ive got 5.01 jb on my ipad 2! boom!

    now try downgrading to 4.3.3 ! and then back to 5.0.1 FOR FUN

    Yes, took a while, but my iPad2 is now jailbroken. Tutorial coming shortly!

    If anyone is having problems, you need to heed the warnings "this may take a while...". It does, and you must not interrupt it. Particularly the last stage!

    all in all, it took about 20 minutes on my iPad2.
