About LinkBacksi use sbsettings, they show the 3g and wifi connection figures (as shown). why is it that even if 3g is higher than wifi, it's significantly slower, and uses more battery juice?

3G and wifi cannot be compared...
- 3G will use more power, its a cellular link where the tower can be a few miles away as opposed to wifi where the router is only a few feet away
- 3G speed is around 7.5 Mb/s but thats the best case. Weather, buildings, landscape will affect your bandwith...
- Wifi speed is dependent on your ISP bandwith... A 7.5 Mb/s plan will often be at the maximum speed all the time
