Would too many tweaks slow your iPAD

I have iPAD 1 that started to be loaded with tweaks.
Now tweaks are not like regular applications, that go to sleep, when you move to another app.
Tweaks are utilities that needs to be on alert to serve us on any screen, any application.
To be alert and not to sleep, required some extra energy.
Energy on a computerized device is Clock cycles , processor power and Battery.
Truth is I didn't noticed a difference as of yet, but just wandering a giving my 2 cent thoughts.

Too much stuff will definitely slow down the iPad. Every month or so I have to completely restore my iPad and start over due to too many tweaks slowing it down.

Yes, too many tweaks definitely slows your iPad as graywolf confirmed.
Remember, the iPad1 only has 256MB of RAM, and every tweak takes a little more of that precious memory.
Whilst it is fun to try out every new tweak that comes along you should learn to become disciplined and uninstall the things you really don't need or use on a regular basis.
That way you can end up with a perfectly tweaked and performant iPad!

    Yep.
Figure that out already, so I try not to install or activate too many.
I wish there was some kind of list to show how much memory is being used on these tweaks.
And I don't mean those endless applications that shows you the amount of memory per application (like AppInfo).
On my iPad-1, with zero application waiting in the background (After activating RemoveBG) I have only 88 MB left, out of the official 250MB that comes with the iPAD-1. ( people with iPAD2 - are probably shocked by that number...)

Point is I must have what I think is running all the time in the background :
    1. 5 raw keyboard
    2. Manual spellong check
    3. MultiTaskingGustures
    4. PageNames
    5. ManualCorrect
    6. Action Menu
    7. Activator
    8. CyDelete
    9. RetinaPad
    10. Springtomize
    11. WinterBoard
    12. Unrestrictor
    13. Action Menu

    P.S
    An Advice.
Before installing and running a new Tweak.
Clear the memory (with the likes of "RemoveBG")
Take a look at the amount of free RAM memory - Take a note
Install and Re-Check to see how much it takes now (after clearing memory).

You have only 30% free RAM Memory not 56%
the iOS is using much of the rest.
Try A total reset that may clear some more

SBsettings has a built in memory cleaner. Tap on "processes" and hit "free up memory".
