A 1600 is what you expect if your baseband is not aligned to 4.3.3. You definitely used TU 5.00.7?

Try installing 4.3.5 normally (it should sail through). Then follow tutorial again. It should complete without error.

Hi, yes i used 5.00.07 also tried 5.00.06 both with the 3g ipads update.

4.3.5 is the ver. I have installed and working already. I tried everything, changing hosts ips, in DFU mode, in restore mode, with tinyumbrella, without tinyumbrella...i´m driving crazy...

The only way i can enter in restore mode (with the progress bar) is with ip 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com and ip 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com but then i get a 1013 error and i need to restore to 4.3.5 again.

Tried from another pc, this time error 1601 all the times.

Any suggestions?

Well, I don't recommend messing with your hosts file unless you know what your are doing. Editing it will just get you in a mess. You certainly should never be pointing anything to 74.208.105.171 manually EVER!

Delete every gs.apple.com line from your hosts file completely and run the tutorial again (don't comment them out, delete them!)

No success, also tried on a clean computer (never connected to internet)...error 1600 or 1601 is all I get on differents computers. Also downloaded again 4.3.3 from another site, no way...I dont know what else to try

Finally I downgraded successfully!!!. After trying with two pc, an old one with windows xp and another one new with windows 7, i guessed that the 16xx error was something related to the pc's usb ports. So I tried with a friend's ibook and voila! At first try following the f4780y tutorial i was lucky. Thanks guys for your help.

hey guys i just bought an ipad 2 and they gave me it at version 4.3.5 and i am trying tiny umbrella and dfu mode and stuff and it gives me error 1600 i tried ireb and any thing that i was told that work and it wont downgrade it was never jailbroken? help plz fast!

No, sorry, you are too late. You can only install version 4.3.3 of iOS on your iPad2 if you have saved SHSH Blobs for 4.3.3. Blobs are unique to your device and must be provided by Apple, and they stopped providing 4.3.3 blobs several months ago. There is no way to copy, forge, or otherwise bypass this security. If your iPad2 is new then you have no 4.3.3 blobs and no way to get them. No blobs means no downgrade / upgrade. Sorry.
