I have this program set up on my windows pc with my movies and tv shows. I recently got the app on my ipad. How do i stream the content over my home network. Im not sure what to enter in the network settings.

Not sure about what network your on, but when I click add add videos, then click browse, I have a network called windows network(smb) in here is my network drives.

Nope - just have to make sure your shared drives are set up - and xbmc plays almost every format out there - check their site out - the support forum has a ios section

You could try installing a program like tversity on your pc. I use it to stream to many different devices without issue.

I know whats causing the problem. My pc isnt allowing the other networked devices to read its files.
I figured this out when i tried to access the file from my brothers laptop. My home pc is running windows xp.

Can some explain to me how to set up file sharing so that anyone on the network can access my files. Im not worried about security...
