    Which cables is better to use with display out app?

    If you are willing to pay 30+, why not just buy the original Apple HDMI cable? You will have guaranteed compatibility with the iPad and the iPad can be charged while having an external display connected.

    Agreed. I do intend to buy the HDMI cable, but the VGA serves me well as so many customer sites I visit have older projection equipment...

    I like the VGA cable because I can hook it up to almost anything.
