About LinkBacksI am trying to jailbreak iPad 1 os 4.3.2 have downloaded the firmware unzipped the it and cannot find the ipsw file anywhere in the folder. Downloaded the file from link in the sticky above. I have set the folder views and proper permissions(I think). Computer is vista. IPad is brand new.

The links we provide take you straight to the ipsw file and never a Zip. if you are getting a zip it is your browser, anti-virus, or firewall which is renaming it when it is downloaded. This is not uncommon. . Don't unzip it. Just rename it back to a ipsw file and you will be fine.

I had the same issue. I finally used sn0breeze and Jailbroke without a problem. I used it for 4.3.1. I haven't tried 4.3.2 yet.
