Thread: wi-fi HELP

I am about to purchase an ipad 2 either in store or on ebay.. and i am just looking for the ipad 2 wifi only 16gb, my question is, will i be able to get wi-fi access right off the bat without having to do anything but turn it on? espesially if i order it off ebay? like do i need to pay for some sort of data plan? or what, mainly wondering so i can jailbreak and unlock it. Thanks much.

Yes, wifi works right out the box. For ex. U take ipad2 home. Cut it on, then cut ur wifi on. It'll instantly start to scan and pick up local network. Click on the one that's urs in ur home. Enter in appropriate info and Bam! U r connected now now. Usually onlynhave to inter in info only once. Like i have com cast high speed wireless network. every time my iPad gets cut on, it instantly connects to my network without me having to renter in the info, since I already did it the first time ;-)
