Is there any reason why someone can't use the plethora of tutorials and how-tos already in existence in this Hacking section? We have all kinds of things, from how to jail break with the latest tools to a full discussion on Cydia.

It can't get any easier than visual and verbal instructions coming to you at the same time. If you don't want to read, just following the pictures can get you jailbroken. And for the most part, users that want to jailbreak have already read up on what it is, common techniques and have explored jailbreaking in terms of videos and guides/tuts.
