My Wi-Fi reception is majorly improved. I sit in an office where you can't pick up Wi-Fi normally at my desk in this part of the building. My iPad never could pick up on it and my laptop won't see the Wi-Fi. Since the update, not only can my iPad see the Wi-Fi, but it can connect to it and surf via it. OK, it's kinda slow, but I can't expect much from the bleeding edge of the signal. I'm super happy though that it now works!
Dumb question,but is this the ipad software update itunes is trying to download for me? I'm jailbroken,so I think I'll stay away if this is the case.
Does this help with 3G connection?
Update improves YouTube greatly.
Got the update, no big improvements for me, but I was not having problems.... probably placebo effect but the net does seem a little faster.....
Done. Wifi seems more stable so far. But the problem was once every few hours, I still have to wait for some time.
Bremen, that illusion may have come from the reboot we had to perform.

No placebo for me..WiFi strength is much better. My router is in the living room and I'm in my bedroom. Before the update I was only showing the "dot" on the icon. Now I'm at full bars and speed is faster unlike before.
I just downloaded. We will see what happens. I never had any major issues, but I will take any improvement offered.
Could anyone check if there are more international keyboard layouts in this firmware update? I am interested in Korean and Thai keyboards in particular.
