I'm curious. Are you using exactly this link:
Apple - QuickTime - WWDC 2010 Keynote Address
Because if you open it on an iPad, it starts immediately. If you open it on a PC, I get a choice of several resolutions/options.
Maybe you've got a link to one of the versions that won't play on the iPad.

That's strange. I have no problems viewing mine.

Hi Wot-Fan,
I'm using the default Safari Browser.
Hi Numblock,
I tried using your link and I got a cross right across the play button also and it can't play.
Hi Izzy
Are you able to click on Numblock's link and see if you can play? If yes, that would mean that there could be a regional issue. Will prob highlight this to Apple.
-
Hm, strange. So we know it works in North America and Switzerland.
-
it's works fine for me.
:D
-
Downloaded the Podcast with my MacBook when it became available, and once I synched my iPad it was there and watched the entire (BORING) event on my iPad with no issues.
-
I just watched it on my iPad, no problems, just started playing immediately.
-
Anyone outside of North America and Western Europe who could also kindly try it?
-
I can stream it from the apple website, but when I try to download it from iTunes on my ipad2, it gives me the same error message. "Apple WWDC Keynote cannot be played on this iPad"
What's up with that? The stream from the apple webpage is low-quality, and I'm on wi-fi. Im glad I'm not the only one with this issue, but i don't understand it at all
Anybody have an idea?
