Facebook for iPad finally released!

Unfortunately, Facebook doesn't push any notifications eventhough the option is on. When someone's sends me a message, boxcar app notifies me, but not Facebook.

is there a chat function for facebook i havnt managed to find it?

You can chat on the official Facebook app. Just slide to the right and a menu pops up, you can select the functions from there.

I've found a couple of things I can't do on the app... One is to share a video if it's on someone else's wall. That I'd like to do. And there is quite a delay on the notifications, I mostly get told some time after I've read the relevant posts.
