i'm a pupil of first decondary year
i want to buy tebleetfor édacation and i couldn't choose between theme . i read in blogs that sm g note 10.1 has s pen witch is very good to write also you can read pdf and download theme without any problems but there is no good or enaught apps and you need to wait very long for updates
and ipad has more than 275.000 apps in app store majority free . but its note good for downloading pdfs and read theme online
i need your advices plz !

Thers are over 700,000 apps. You already know about the stylus. Expandable storage, 16 GB cards can be had for $20 and less, while Apple will chargey an additional $100 to go from 16 to 32 GB. Go to a Samsung or Android forum, folks here have Apple-shaped blinders on. You'll find many features of the Andriud tablets are superior to Ipads. 2 speakers instead of one mono speaker. The microsd card slots. HDMI out without buying extraa adapters. The file system. Downliading direct to yiur tablet. 16 x 9 aspect ratio (correct for movie watching) Apple is 4.3 like an old TV. You lose 20% of a movie trying to eliminate the retina-ready black bars o the Ipad.

Many apps you can use for education. As Isaid, this is ths wrong forum to get unbiased information on anything that doesn't start with the letter "i".

Do some research, check out the features in person at a retail store if at all possible.

Hello x3xtt, welcome to the forum. Coredump gave you an unbiased suggestion. I am in the USA. I'm a part time student taking a post graduate class. A requirement to attend this class is to have a tablet as all class presentations will be pushed to every participant's tablet. There are ten students, one professor and one technical assistant. When class started, one student had a Samsung tablet, but the next time class met, he had an Apple iPad. This of course drew attention. The professor spent several minutes of class time to discuss why this student changed to an iPad.

While he had the exact apps we all had, pulling in the files to the Samsung took longer than the rest of us. Sometimes, when we were going through the presentations, his tablet lagged and it sometimes stopped and he had to get out of the app and then go back into the app and start all over. He did not want to be the only non-iPad student.

While the Samsung has a lot more bells and whistles, from my classmates point of view, the iPad was a lot easier to use and having an iPad, like the rest of us, made him feel part of the community. Sometimes when you try to compare the technology, you loose cite of the ultimate decision point: will this tablet meet my requirements?

My professor was disappointed that he exchanged his Android tablet for an iPad as he really wanted to see how the Android worked in this setting.
