Hey guys...I just got a new iPad mini and set it up yesterday. I added my Comcast and Gmail email addresses to the iPad but although the mail is coming in fine the contacts in both accounts did not import.

Do I have to sync it by connecting the iPad mini to my PC and going through iTunes? Or is there a way to do it wirelessly? I also tried to export them as a CSV file but I don't see how to open it on the iPad.

Have you gone into your email app on your iPad and turned on the contacts.

Settings>mail,calendar,contacts> Gmail account...









Turn on contacts.

To sync Contacts with GMail you need to either setup as an Exchange account:

I have no idea how or if a Comcast account can sync contacts. If it can, it will be similar to one of the previous two methods. Look around on their site to see if they have Exchange or CardDAV services.
