Word and excel are very complex PC/MAC programs. You are not going to find free versions of those anywhere. There are some apps that you need to pay for that offer limited ability to work with files from those programs. There is pages and numbers from apple at $10 each.

verified- using cloud on- with it's respected cloud sources- Gdrive, DropBox, or Box, you get excel and word editing capabilities within the app
