Can anyone tell me why Camera+ is a better ap than the Apple camera that comes with the iPad. I'm am hearing alot of noice about this ap, but no one is telling me any specifics. Any info appreciated.

It adds a few features and some cutesy filters. But SmugMug's Camera Awesome is a better camera app that can actually help you take better pictures. I've tried bunches of camera apps; Camera Awesome and Snapseed are IMHO the only ones that are truly useful.

You got me interested in Camera Awesome, so I looked at it in the App Store. It said I have it installed, but I can't find the icon!

The label under the icon is "Camera!" and not "Camera Awesome." Somewhat confusing, to be sure. The icon is a lens with an A above it.

Mystery solved! Thanks. I confess I've installed a bunch of photo apps and have not yet put them to a lot of use.
