    That's only free on a desktop. You need Spotify Premium to listen on an iPad.

    Ah, I see, the free app is limited and you have to upgrade to premium. Well, that's all there is for now from Spotify I'm afraid.

    The thing about the premium is you can use on my than one mobile device....I don't remember the exact number, I think it is three. And you can run it on any number of PCs.

    I keep going back and forth on Spotify. I like it, but I keep subscribing and then unsubscribing because there are so many free alternatives out there like Pandora.

    Me too. The thing that keeps me coming back is that i can store new music offline. While i still like Pandora it irks me that i cant control what I'm listening to.

    Yeah, I've been using TuneIn Radio lately to listen to stations around the world. it's really nice to be surprised by the music you are listening to.
