I skipped the iPad 2 and went straight from the 1st gen to the 3rd gen , so if you use imagery such as photos videos etc I'd day it's worth every cent! It's also the same display that apple have updated on all their new devices so I'd recommend it, insure you will understand when you compare the 2 , the difference is quite significant .

It is worth it, bit thats not putting the ipad 2 down or saying the ipad 2 isnt good enough. I simply LOVE the display on my ipad2
