Hi, I just got the new iPad and need an app where I can open and edit word docs made on my pc. Is it worth getting the pages app, or something else?
"pages" is the AppStore app. Not as full featured as word, but is definitely getting the job done for me.
If you don't plan to work on heavily edited docs I think you will be fine with whatever office solution you pick from the AppStore. Still I would suggest you to stick to draft copies and avoid working on final versions of the documents.
Pages is working well for me, tried others but not as easy for us oldies
