Newbie here... I have the iPad3 & my wife just got her iPad2, we share the same Apple ID to be able to share the Apps that we both might choose & we have our separate e-mail accounts set up on our individual iPads.

If I purchase an App for "whatever cost" (not free), it goes on my credit card... Our question is can hers be set up so if she purchases a "whatever cost" App, can it be charged to her card or does it have to be on my card since we share the same Apple ID? So far, we've both only downloaded free apps with me only purchasing a "couple" apps & she asked me last night this question & I had no idea... Anyone help?

As you both share the same Apple ID,you can't have two credit cards associated with it.You can only have one credit card associated with a single Apple ID at one time. All app purchases will have to be made with that single card.

That's what I was suspecting but wasn't sure since the e-mail could be different on a separate device, I thought "possibly" that a different card could be associated with a different device even though the Apple ID was the same.
