Make sure you select the iPad preset for optimum results. Add the file to iTunes by opening iTunes and selecting File and selecting the option Add File to Library. The normal windows/Mac dialog will open to select said file. Once processed, it should show up under Movies I believe.Originally Posted by abhay mittal

Hmm i also think Handbrake will be the helpful software for you. It is probably one of the best written video encoding tools out there.
Handbrake is best and useful software, the quality of video after converting will remain almost same.
Ive tried hanbrake and others and the wone I found the easest and free is freemake.com and fast.
1080P is the highest "commercial" resolution available. 4K would is a higher resolution that professionals work with, but compressing it into a viewable (and manageable frame rate) would result in arguably the same quality of 1080P, when viewed on products like the iPad.
I use freemake it is completly free it sends it to Itune automactic.and it isfast
