My boyfriend bought me the new iPad for my bday so I wasn't given explanation for like how to get a wifi for it on the go. I'd like to use the Internet outside of my home so how do I install a wifi for it? All I know is that I have to choose between Verizon and AT&T but I don't know how to install it.

You are confusing wifi and 4G. Wifi you just pick up the signal, like in your home or public wifi.

I think it might just be wifi since I can't use Internet outside of my wireless.

You might want to get WIFI Finder. it's fee in the Ap store.

With it you can find all the Wifi locations in your area. As you expand and contract the map the WIFI locations increase and decrease accordingly.

There is a save function that saves the info so you can see the WIFI location when you have no WIFI signal.

You can also select out free or not which is a big help.
