i want to access my movies located in my hard drive which is connected to my computer is that possible ? .

Try VLC streamer. You will need VLC helper on your PC. Once you are set up you can stream movies from your computer to your iPad.

If it is a USB drive you can use a product called CloudFTP. Alternatively, if you don't want to leave your computer running you could plug a NAS drive into your router, copy the films to it and watch them anywhere in the world where you have an Internet connection.
