    iCloud Question

I have both my iPad and a PC desktop. My iPad is fully upgraded to iOS 5.1. Is it possible to sync the iPad and the PC? Or will it work only with Apple devices?

Hi Apps...With iOS 5.0 or greater, you can sync wireless with itunes.

If you have Outlook in your Office suite you can also sync. You will need to install the icloud program on your PC. Even without Outlook Photostream will sync.

    Hi App--

To answer your question further--certain apps that you have on your PC--such as Evernote, Dropbox..those will sync OTA as needed, through its app. I don't use icloud at this time since everything I have is synced automatically through other cloud services.

As Diane said-Outlook can sync your email, calendar and contacts through it's own service.

Have a look at this from Apple: http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/documents.html

A little more possibly pertinent info: iCloud will sync a variety of services with your PC; but you must be on Windows Vista or later.
