Some iPad apps such as FaceTime iMessage ..etc. require knowin other iPad users in order to use them properly so why aren't there any iPad social website to chat and get to know other iPad users

When FaceTime was new, Apple had a toll free number you could make calls to, just to test the app. I think it went to one of their Apple Stores. I wonder if it still exists.

Here is a 2010 article with the number. I suppose you could try it. Best to wait for U.S. business hours.

Hey Contra, just make sure both parties are hooked up to wi-fi when you call. (just a heads up. It may sound basic, but it's not always obvious).

What time zone are you in? Someone might be prepared to help you out with a test call, depending on where in the world you are
