The Kindle App on my new I-Pad opens then closes in seconds. It won't stay open Anybody know why?

Close the app in your multitask bar. Then try restarting or resetting: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If that doesn't work, delete the app and reload it, then sign back on with your account info. I'd suggest deleting last, in case it ends up forcing you to redownload books you've currently got on iPad.

I got it to stay on, BUT now whenever I download a book. It say's please remove book and re download.

Have you tried all the possibilities in post No. 2?

Nothing like the iPad 3

I have found that the kindle app do this if you use it to read some non kindle books. Specifically some .prc or .mobi books.
