What's the point of havin a USB cable for ur iPad if u want use it to do stuff? Any1 know how to transfer films with out using iTunes or is that the only way it can be done? Any suggestions?

When you plug your iPad into your computer it should show up as a Flash Drive. Pictures and movies that are on the Camera Roll in the Photos app will show up in the DCIM folder on that drive.

You do not need iTunes for this to work.

On a Mac you can use the Image Capture app to do the same thing. It's one of the app included in an OS X install.
