    I think you can update only cms web or forums. But can't editor from another app.

    I update my websites on occasion from my iPhone (not ideal but in an emergency situation you use what you have available). VNC, TouchTerm & FTPOnTheGo are apps that should be sufficient for most to be able to administer websites and webservers on the go if you are comfortable with doing so via the command line. But true... hopefully a version of iWeb will be available on the iPad before too long.
