    Is there any way i can recieve and respond to the text messages from iphone to ipad

    I think there is some way to do this through my contacts. I was wondering if anyone can give me specific directions on this.. Thanks in advance.

    To be more clear I want to recieve and reply to text messages that I get on my iphone from my ipad. Can i do this?

    The only way i know you can do this is via imessage. I do not know of any sms app that can intercept your messages from the phone to the pad.

    Other then that message app that comes with the iPad then no..the iPad isn't a phone,although there are apps that you can download for texting
