thay need to be air print ready so you can use them without haveing the printer hooked up to computer that is turned on...if you do not wish to go out and buy a new printer that is air print ready you can down load a program called fingerprint desktop and install it on your computer

Epson also have iprint. It's not too bad. That and PrintJinni work well
