Hi Raymond - welcome to the forum!
I'm assuming that you mean a 'Belkin' router? You need to be much more specific about your needs? What type of networking issues are you wanting? You should be able to easily connect your iPad via Wi-Fi to your router? If the latter is a problem, please post back here - plenty of great people on the forum to help! Good luck -![]()
Sorry bout that
I am currently connected to the belken router to write this.
Wanting to k now about connecting to Pc and laptop via the belken router
Hello again Raymond - I'm still not understanding your needs? Your Belkin router seems to be giving you a Wi-Fi connection to the iPad - correct?
From your last statement above, are you having an issue connecting your PC and/or laptop to the Belkin router? I'm just a little confused here - sorry?
If all of your devices connect to your router, are you asking how to interface and/or transfer files/etc. between your iPad and your other computers?
Please try to clarify your questions and issues for a more specific response(s) -![]()
Yes to your last question
I have a vista Pc and a win 7 laptop + a canon wireless printer all connected to router
OK - so WHAT do you want to do?
I want to connect all 3 devices via a wireless network so I can use files on each device and print from each device
Fine, a more specific request - unfortunately, the iPad is not running a Windows OS and what you may be expecting will not be an easy accomplishment - just the nature of the device and the Apple iOS - so don't expect this to be easy - each of your potential needs may have to be addressed 'one by one'?
As to printing, I'm assuming that your Canon 'wireless' printer is not Air Print compatible which is Apple's 'easy' wireless printing technology - if so, you will need an app that will allow you to print - for me, I'm using FingerPrint - HERE - works well w/ my Canon Pixma printer; just $10; and requires a program on your computer connected to the printer & a Wi-Fi connection - I've been pleased.
For 'file transfer', again you'll have to be more specific - what type of files do you want to transfer? Word Office, images, music, videos, etc? There are plenty of wired (sync) and wireless options (Dropbox, iCloud, etc.) that would likely meet your purposes, but again some more information may help others to guide you to specific solutions. Good luck -![]()
Many thanks Giradman
