I'll jump in.... IMO, the screen resolution is not a critical area that needs attention. There are other things that could be tweaked which would have a better payoff. Everyone is different with what's important to them so that's the real key.
From what I've heard and how pleased I am with my iPad 2, I think I'll stay with what I've got this time around.
