You type your message and then press return, it seems to be the same on all versions of Facebook now.

There is a bug in the FaceBook app. The Send button will only show when you are using the touch keyboard in docked mode (not split or floating).

Using the return button did not work. Will this bug be fixed? I hate not being able to comment from my iPad! I have to rely on my Blackberry for that.

You can get the send button. Just use the touch keyboard in it's normal docked (bottom of the screen) position.
As for if/when the bug will be fixed, I suppose you could try sending an email to Zuckerberg. He might know.
And you can always visit the FaceBook site using Safari. As long as you aren't trying to upload anything, it works fine.
