Just came across a recent bio of Steve Jobs on PBS, "Steve Jobs: One Last Thing" was the title as I recall.

But an interesting thing was that one has to download Flash Player 9.0 to view it!

Hmmm...I have the PBS app on my iPad and I watched this program on my iPad.

No flash required, just app.

I imagine its like Youtube in that they will default to Flash unless they are able to tell what type of device is opening the video.

Nope, no commentary on my part! I don't think my words were intended to convey anything other than amusement.

I tried to look at the documentary through a link I came across on AOL Editions. Probably I was channeled through a news source that required Flash. I just thought it was ironic that I should have to use Flash.

A few days ago, someone started a thread here about a cartoon showing Steve Jobs phoning someone (Bill Gates?) from atop the Cloud. With my warped brain, I immediately added a sign to the cloud reading HTML5 and the receiving end changed to bethe fiery furnace down below with someone from Adobe answering the phone while being pitchforked by an evil demon---and the sign over the door to the furnace read FLASH.

C'mon, let's lighten up!

Uhhhh---Just saw the news about Adobe folding on the Flash issue! Was my image prophetic, or what?
