    I think so <grin> or I would not have posted this. In my experience, jpgs are easier to work with, ala edit and use with other application. Did it change or am I just mistaken?

    I pulled up a screen capture from my iPad in April 2010 and it was a png file...

    I know it is easy to convert in Preview once it gets back to OS X. Perhaps that is what I did. But would like to chg default file type to avoid the extra step...
