New iPad user here! I have a dozen or so photos I'd like to email to a friend. Is there a way to send several at a time instead of the one that shows in the body of the email?

If you're in the thumbnail view, press the 'curly arrow' icon on the top right hand corner of the screen. Then select up to five photos and you'll be able to hit the email button on the top left hand corner of the screen and send all of those at one time.

If you really want to send more than five at once, there is a way but you'll need a third-party app; you can't do this directly from the iPad's Photos app.
