    Can you multi-task yet?

    For example, can I have AIM & internet open at the same time? Or not yet? Is it coming? Can you use iTunes and browse the internet/play games at the same time?

    If you jailbreak you can, mine multitasks just fine. I can't wait for the new os upgrade tho...it looks a lot better.

    Os 4 will be out by the end of the summer

    I'm using it on my iPhone.
    Apps have to build in multitasking, it won't just automatically work on all apps.

    Good info... I did not know the apps have to support it, makes sense though....

    I am sure most app developers will do the deed ASAP....

    You can play itunes and surf at the same time. There are other Appl apps that support multitasking, but 4.0 will expand that.

    Os4 will be put in the sumer for the iPhone. Jobs said it wouldn't be available on the iPad until fall.
