My screen on my iPad 2 froze yesterday. It was so bad, that I couldn't even shut it off. Naturally, to say that I was upset would be an understatement. After all, this is the first Apple product I've ever purchased. Up till now, I've always bought pc's, and up till now, I haven't had any problem with my iPad. But, like everyone else, I paid a lot of money for this machine and I had to wait three and a half to get it.

Anyway, I ended up going to the Apple store and the tech showed me how to correct the problem. What you do is this...

If you're looking at your iPad from the "Portrait" perspective, hold down the power button at the top and the button on the bottom AT THE SAME TIME. This will re-boot your iPad and the problem will be solved.
