Apple's advice of how to clean the screen:
Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPad. iPad has an oleophobic coating on the screen; simply wipe iPad’s screen with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oil left by your hands.

I use spectacle wipes/optiwipes they are slightly wet wipes in a sealed packet to get the grime off my iPad everyday and for just a normal wipedown I will use a micro fibre cloth

    Works a treat

I use a Brillo soad pad (kidding)

Try Windex without ammonia. I also use when I detail the windshield on my truck.

Micro fibre cloth for me too, use them on all touch screen products, PC and Laptop, screens are always nice and clean with no use of chemicals which are not recommended after all!

I buff mine with my reading glass cloth and if really dirty, a baby wet wipe that is used sparingly.

I've always been wary of doing the sleeve way especially if there are buttons on there but I'm afraid I have done this on occasion if I'm showing off and the screen has got fingerprints on.
