Good posting. With the eveolution of Ipad and tablets, intenet world has been more easily available to us. Now we can also read any magazine on our tablet or Ipad by getting its subscription. So, It has invented or created a digital publication industry all over the world.

I'm also looking forward to using it as a remote console for my servers when I need quick access from someones desk. Then of course, there's sitting on the couch reading the news and generally browsing the web to keep up with the world, reading books, of course.

For news,for films,for email,for chat...

I think the better question is what DON'T I use the iPad for. I'm completely sold on this form factor and I think the mini just took it to another level.

Only thing now is waiting for the software to catch up so that we can get desktop-like functionality on this thing.

I use my iPad for many things, photography is one part of it. The best thing in using iPad is the Photoshop Touch and then bringing the iPad edited photos into Photoshop. Nice to see quick edits and such. iPads is a very useful gadget nowadays.

I like the fact you can add all manner of hardware.... very conveinient. I do however get frustrated in not being able to do some of the simplest of tasks without an issue.

Welcome, Beards. I find the iPad has so many advantages, it's convenience, ease of use, portability etc. However, as you say, some tasks on software, such as WP, DTP, Spreadsheets can be difficult if you wish to use more complex facilities as used on a laptop or PC. However, you will find ways of working as you settle into using an iPad.

BTW, I find that an external keyboard is a superb accessory at times.
