Apple has just issued an upgrade to iOS4.3 to better block jailbreak. I doubt Apple will support warranty after jailbreak.

What would you do if it was jailbroke? I did that a while ago with my iPhone and beside the possibility to customized the look, I found nothing that was really useful. And with the new iOS 4.3, the tethering is easier than ever.

You end up with a less stable device, only for 1 app from cydia most of the time.

Just my 2 cents...

I jail broke my iPad after a few months of debating.
Honestly, I'm glad I did it. I have downloaded some really good tweaks, I guess as long as your careful you'll be fine.
You can totally remove all traces of a jailbreak as far as I'm aware so apple has no way of knowing you've 'tampered' with it (but you may want to double check that)

I would definitely jailbreak if I where you, so much more you can do and it doesn't affect the performance what so ever.

Jailbreak, go against the grain..lol. iPad truly becomes magical after jail breaking ;-)
