This topic is so insanely moronic. Kids have been passing around magazines and books to each other since print was invented. The only thing that this technology does is to allow hormone laden middle schoolers to take pictures of one another and pass them around for the admiration of their peers.
Know what they should do? They should outlaw cell phones and the like at schools. Not the 'turn them off' rule - they should make kids check them in at the front door - period. I have kids that age and I know what they do with texting and messaging between classes and during classes.
But no - instead they're going to take some poor kid, a kid who probably had the picture sent to him by a bunch of girls playing a prank - and slap that kid with a sexual predator label for the rest of his life. They might as well drag him off to the state offenders cube on the other side of the football field and neutralize his life form.
In 1585 Gutenberg invented moveable type. He set the Bible in German and book publishing began. TWO WEEKS later the Baron Von Furstenberg brought him a small tome of dirty poems to type set.
Edison invents the magic lantern movie show and within a month there are porn flicks available in booths. Well strip tease anyway.
The VCR arrives in the late seventies and there are adult video sections in video stores within a year.
There are thousands of porn sites on the Internet within a few years of NETSCAPE.
This is nothing new. It's called human nature.
