    iBooks and game apps for small kids

    Pretty new here folks so hope this isn't a FAQ.
    Do you have any recommendations for some good iBooks for 2 & 3 year olds?
    Also any games that they may like.

    Grover and the monster at the end of this book. Awesome!
    There are some interactive miss spider books that my daughter loves
    Bartlebes buttons
    Toddler quizzing, i think it's called
    Umm, I need to go look through my games folder. Brb!

    The only way you can install apps not in the iTunes app store is to jailbreak your iPad--not recommended.

    You can find lots of picture book apps for kids up to age 10 on my review site. We have 100+ iPad kids book reviews with rating categories that are sortable for the best books for bedtime, animation, interactivity, even price. I started the site after having trouble finding good books to share with my preschooler.

    Digital Storytime - iPad Childrens Book Reviews - iPhone Childrens Book Reviews

    I also hand select up to 6 FREE app deals everyday from several categories (usually books, education, entertainment, games) - highlighting the best free promotions of paid apps. Digital Storytime Daily Deal

    Right now I'd recommend an app that's free for a limited time called, "Smarty Pants School" - I only do full reviews of book apps, but this education title is so good that if I did, I'd give it 5 stars! It's at the top of our deal page.

    Not sure what your point is famerbean?! I didn't request details of non-iTunes apps. Any way bartelby's buttons is great even though we are stuck on one of the levels!
