    Not quite an instant on device, but 10 seconds isn't bad

    When the devise was off i saw the screen. It had all the finger prints...i was hoping it would be a first that wasnt so finger printy. But its just as bad as the rest. The time isnt half bad, actually good.

    That's pretty dang fast! That's why I think the iPad will be perfect for two or three day quick business trips or weekend getaways....you don't have to boot up a bunch of software, the battery life will be at least twice that of a laptop and you can bang out some emails, read or watch a movie

    Yup. My mac book pro takes a good 20seconds. Give or take. How long is the battery life?
