i'd like create a custom wallpaper for IPAD in CS5..

    what should the document size be ?

    tyvm - i have one further question .......

    can different wallpapers be used for each and every different screen / home page?

    Remember the screen is 1024x768 and when you rotate so does the image. Horizontally the top is clipped and vertically the sides are, so chose an image that works with the rotation and doesn't become unbalanced.
    As far as I know only the one wallpaper is useable.

    Yes u can !

    If u have ex 6 pages u can have 6 different wallpapers.

    U have to have a jailbroken iDevice and the best way Is to do It by SHH into your device.

    You can have two wallpapers. One for the lock screen and one for the home screen. Easiest way to set them individually is through Settings.

    I wouldn't place any bets on it, but I anticipate no change this model.

    If you want to cover you bets just double the size of the original. You can resize a copy after it is finished.

    Didn't know about the extra wallpaper.

    Not that I'd use it as it's hard to find something suitable with all those disparate icons. Even with folders they occupy most of the screen.

    sorry guys - 1 more quick question ............

    does IPAD handle file formats other than "jpeg" , such as PSD or otherwise?
