Once we get the announcement of the iSlate (fingers crossed) next week. How long do you think it will be until the device is available for sale?

Apple announced the iPhone on January 9, 2007, after months of rumors and speculation. Ssound like the iSlate at all? However the iPhone did not go on sale until June 29, 2007.

I sure hope we don't have to wait 6 months for this thing!!

I would expect them to offer something within a month of the announcement but what do I know. 6 months release after time of announcement is nuts. Thankfully most of the time they offer an iPod or a computer upgrade it's near immediate after the announcement.
