About LinkBacksHey,guys!
I have a new computer and want to transfer my music (which was loaded from CDs) from my old computer to my new one. I also want to keep my playlists that I spent time setting up. But when I plug my ipod touch into my new computer it simply asks me if I want to wipe all the music on it and replace it with what is in iTunes on the new computer ie. nothing

I just want to say that I followed the steps outlined in this article when I transferred from a laptop running Windows XP to my current desktop running Windows 7 Professional - and it worked like a charm!
Sure helped my fears (one of the reason it took me so long to upgrade PCs was moving iTunes).
Great advice - and great of you, Pocobear, for highlighting this article.
