Mr Gale, just go to live.com and sign in with your username, etc. You can get to all of your folders and storage from there. You can download files from there if you use iCab browser or Mercury browser (Safari won't download) but you can't upload files from your iPad to skydive.

The iSMEStorage App works with SkyDrive very nicely on iPad, Picture gallery, upload /download, file share, sync etc.
